The Universal Scrubber System removes and neutralizes acid fumes by drawing a vacuum through a series of bottles. The fumes and vapours generated by the digestion are drawn through a condensing unit to remove the majority of the moist acid fumes. The condensate is collected in an ‘EMPTY’ bottle. The gases then pass through the ‘NaOH’ neutralizing reagent like NaOH at 2 to 4N. The air stream then passes through a second “’EMPTY’ bottle to collect droplets that may form during the inter action with an ACTIVATE CHARCOAL gas scrubber. An adapter is included to connect the Universal Fume Scrubber to a DigiPREP HT 100 or HT 250. CE, UL, and CSA approved.
