DigiSEP MRT - Precious Metals



The mining industry is constantly on the search for precious metals. Rock samples require grinding and then digestion by the appropriate DigiPREP digestion system. However precious metals are found in limited quantities versus other metals in the same sample. Hence, their analysis may be more difficult. The PM series DigiSEP cartridges will retain and concentrate precious metals. The metals can then be eluted and analysed at higher concentrations in the absence of interferences.

Note: Other products than those listed here are available. For example, Re-01 and Re-02 cartridges for the extraction of rhenium in the form of perrhenates; PM-11 cartridges for the extraction of gold and silver cyanides; PM-12 for the retention and speciation of Au3+, Ir4+, Pt4+ and Ru4+.
