Chemistry Production Manager – Metalorganic Division - Conostan

The company has grown substantially in recent years through internal and contracted manufacturing, acquisition, and expansion of its sales distribution network around the world.

SCP SCIENCE is currently seeking Chemistry Production Manager – Metalorganic Division - Conostan who are interested in a long-term career within a professional working environment.


  • Business/Technical/Marketing Management of CONOSTAN Division
  • Direction of all operations & supervision of staff of 6 employees at the current time.
  • Functional aspects of chemical manufacturing management, planning, direction
  • Functional aspects of product line management & product/business development
  • Business planning & implementation
  • Marketing & Sales management
  • Product line management & development
  • Quality System management
  • Manufacturing: Planning, technical preparation & instructions, supervision
  • Safety & environmental programs & leadership
  • Facilities: Space, equipment, tools, and plant requirements
  • Personnel: training, coaching
  • Product quality: release management & authority
  • Technical direction
  • Personnel supervision
  • Corporate & business unit policies implementation
  • Business & operations continuous improvement
  • Other tasks as required


Essential skills and knowledge

  • Minimum BSc degree - organic chemistry or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience; previous work experience in petrochemical manufacturing and/or oil analysis would be a plus; 
  • Broad chemistry, chemical processing, chemical, petroleum, lubricants industry knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated leadership & management experience
  • Marketing/sales experience

  • Very good knowledge of WHMIS and site safety rules and responsibilities
  • Computer skills: word, excel, Syteline is our ERP system.
  • Excellent communication abilities (written / oral) in both English and French;
