DigiSEP Orange is a polymer combining a styrene Orange Application Sample 1L
divinylbenzene (SDB) with a methylmethacrylate backbone
providing both hydrophilic character and non-polar adsorption Conditioning pH adjustment
capability. It is mainly used to remove organic particles from (1 M HCl pH = 3.5)
aqueous matrices as a clean up preparation step before metal Methyl Acetate (10 ml)
analysis. Metal ions pass through unretained. Methanol (10 ml)
Water (20 ml)
DigiSEP Orange (500 mg/6 ml)

Rinsing Rinse with 1 ml of demineralized water. Dry for 3 minutes.

Elution Methyl Acetate (5 ml)

Elution solution

Concentrating Upper: Methyl Acetate layer
Lower: Water (0.3 ml)

Methyl Acetate: 0.2~0.3 ml
Nitrogen gas flow

Internal standards 1 ml Hexane (1 µg each)
